The Foundation by Albert Long
A young African American man--Michael Devereaux--is pursued by a very powerful organization that has ties to a secret social society that has worked with and influenced multiple aspects of the United States' government since its colonial days. The organization has almost exclusively directed United States' policy involving African Americans including promotion of the African slave trade. The Foundation is determined to recruit Michael and groom him to be the successor to its leadership. The novel delves into new literary territory and concepts that most people have never conceived--a powerful African secret society that engages in all types of global politics using the Foundation to hide and fund its activities.
